By Phone

We find that email is far more effective and convenient than the telephone as a means of communication.

Visitors of these pages operate in different time zones all around the world as do a number of participants in IEUC activities.

Far more significant is the fact that The IEUC does not yet have the financial wherewithal to maintain physical offices.

However, if you have something you feel needs to be discussed orally, just let us know via our Contact Page and we can arrange for one of our volunteers to take your call at his or her personal number.

Or At Conferences & In Person

Since we are a virtual organization with researchers scattered around the world, good places to look for us are at academic conferences, partularly those located in ready driving distance of New York from Boston to Pittsburgh to Maryland. So let us know if you have an event comming up in the area!

You can generally find some of our people at The University of Maryland at College Park's Human-Computer Interactin Lab's Annual Symposium and Open House. And we always have someone in attendance at IBM's Watson Research Center's annual Programming Languages Day.

This Year we spent a lot of time on the road this year with a particularly busy Academic Conference Season including JCDL 2008, Hypertext 2008, and Business of Software 2008.

We also frequent technology centered trade shows like InterOp at the Javits Center in New York City and GTC East at "The Egg" in Albany, New York.

Since our Executive Director / Chief Technology Officer is based in Westchester, he can always make a forray into Manhattan to meet interested parties based in or visiting New York City.
